Founder & CEO
Founder & CEO of LID. His interest in the lifelong learning of global business executives drove LID since 1993 over 3 languages, 20 formats and 8 countries. Born in Spain his education includes: BA Business – Deusto, BA Sociology – Complutense, MBA & MA International Economics – Stanford.

Martin Liu

COO & Publisher
Martin brings several decades of experience at the top level of publishing in the business and professional fields. Martin counts editorships, directorships and publishing roles among his career highlights. Clients call him “intelligent, focused and enormously supportive”.

Beatriz Garcia

Head of Finance
With a degree in Economics and an MBA by IE, Beatriz has an extensive career in finance and international management control. She is result-oriented with experience across different industries, which highly contributes to the implementation of LID’s global strategic vision.

Jeanne Bracken

Head of Publishing, Spain & LATAM
Jeanne manages the editorial function for Spanish and Latin American book operations. With an extensive background in publishing and digital products, Jeanne has worked on numerous bestselling business titles, overseeing their publication in Spanish (Spain and Mexico) and English (UK and US).

Niki Mullin

Head of Business Development

An expert business journalist, Ben holds a raft of experience as editor of membership magazines for large professional bodies, having been the multiple award-winning editor of Professional Manager for four years and Accounting Technician for five. He is editor-at-large of Dialogue.

Maria Cid

Head of Communications
Maria oversees LID’s global external and internal communications, managing the strategic PR and marketing campaigns that drive our authors and clients to success. With a strategic communications background, she holds a degree in International Politics and Sociology (City University London).

Patricia Vicente

Business Development Manager
Patricia holds a degree in International Business (ICADE and Northeastern University), Master in Marketing and Commercial Management (ESIC) and in International Business Management (ICEX-CECO). She has extensive international experience in marketing and business development in Europe, China and UAE.

Susan Furber

Editorial Manager
Susan has a wealth of editorial experience, having worked for Bloomsbury, Routledge and CIPFA. Susan holds a BA in English Literature and Philosophy, Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, USA, including a year at the University of Oxford, UK and an MA in Publishing, Oxford Brookes University, UK.

Monica Wang

Project Manager, China
Monica focuses on bring book projects from China and rights sales in Asia. She has a long history of working in publishing; including bilingual business digest magazine Master60, Sunbright Publishing Co Taiwan and Kogan Page Ltd. She holds a Masters in Publishing from City University London.

Marian Bermejo

Business Development Manager
Marian holds a degree in Psychology, EMBA in Commercial Management and Marketing (IE) and a master in HR Management (EOI). She held positions in Commercial Management, Marketing and Business Development in offline and online media such as Vocento, Diario ABC, Punto Radio, Kiss Media and Prisa Radio.

Xingyu couples exemplary soft skills with client-focused, business excellence. She has a raft of experience working with corporates and institutions to identify their communications needs and strengthen their global brand image. Based in Shanghai and fluent in English, Spanish and Mandarin.
